Our room was cozy and lovely, with a spacious bathroom and great natural light from the ceiling windows, just like they said. the shower, bidet, and soft bath sheets were a nice touch. 🛁

Internet didn't work for 1.5 day. I received after a complaint a discount what was fair.

Nice location, and the service was fine.
I found it very hard to sleep on both nights of my stay due to an astonishing amount of noise outside, which the very thin windows couldn't keep out. There were vans pulling up outside at midnight, 1am and 7am to empty/collect recycling containers for glass, stopping with their engines running, and people shouting. Really disruptive. A room not facing the side road might have been ok.

Convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room with nice bathroom, walking distance to Royal Monastery and bus station, would recommend without hesitation.

A wonderful old hotel, within meters of the interesting palace and parking, surrounded by cafes, and shops. A town to spend days.

The old charm that it represented, the café and the terras outside, the neighbourhood. The gentlemen at the reception where really friendly.
We did not like the small room under the roof, pretty basic, dark, warm, noisy. Staff for the breakfast was not friendly and really slow.

proximity to El Escorial + country park
There is something very troubling about the hotel room we were allocated (212). Not least due to the sparesness of the interior, the very hard matressess on tiny twin beds. A window overlooking a roof which housed several air conditioning units & a fuse box in the room which sounded like a hive of bees (to be fair taking the key card out resolved this). All in all we spent 2 sleepless nights at the hotel even though we were dog tired after 2 full days (neither of us suffer from insomnia, in fact just the opposite. i Additionally there is something really odd about this room.

The location of this hotel is absolutely unbeatable. Situated right near the park, monastery, and palace, it provides easy access to all the main attractions. You can even take a leisurely stroll through the park to the train station, feeling like a local. Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly and the basic amenities in the rooms are perfectly fine.
No balcony or expansive views.

found it to be very comfortable, very clean and in a very nice location in El Escorial. only there for a weekend and it suited me ideally. Thanks for making my stay so enjoyable.
my only criticism would be the lack of English speaking employees. Having said that, I wish I was able to understand Spanish!! So no real problem, we made ourselves understood.

Convenient location right by the palace, with plenty of cafés and restaurants around. Don't forget to check out Cafetin Croche nearby for a nice cup of tea or coffee! ☕

Authentic spanish hotel, particularly in the original building. Fantastic location and beds!! I will definately be back.
Very limited english speaking within the staff, not a problem for basic language but difficult if any problems arise.

Great location very central - has own restaurant and cafe, but plenty of choice around as in middle of town.
Rooms we had very jaded with minimal furniture and old curtains. Acceptable. Meal in restaurant disappointing, misleading menu at door and food expensive for quality. Hard to find initially so if in a car look carefully at one way system to work it out. Public parking not too far.
